QUALITY, PRECISION AND TOTAL FLEXIBILITY OF THE SYSTEM
The PSC modular system is designed for universal use on lathes, machining centres and boring machines. The system works alongside the existing D’Andrea MHD modular system and, with the appropriate adaptors, also allows the two systems to be integrated with the machine cone. Like the MHD, the PSC system comes in different sizes: PSC 40, 50, 63 and 80; the size depends on the type of machining to which it is applied and/or to the type of existing ISO 26623-1/2 couplings.
PSC is the new line of cones, adaptors, extensions, reductions and direct coupling tools from D’Andrea S.p.A. The PSC system – manufactured in accordance with ISO 26623-1/2 – works alongside the existing MHD modular system, allowing the use of both systems on the same machine tool.
The PSC line can also be used on the “Testarossa” (TRM and Elettra) tool holder and on the Monoforce and CT shrinking lines. Apart from rotating tools, the new PSC line can also be used on turning machines with a wide-ranging and complete programme.
The ever-increasing demand for flexibility on modern machine tools leads end-users to demand a rapid retooling of machines, with the aim – where possible – of meeting the specific demands of length and diameter with standard (modular) tools, while avoiding the use of special toolholders which, for reasons of cost and delivery times, are not economically viable, thereby significantly reducing the number of necessary components in stock.
